Astrid du Toit is a mothertongue French speaker of  Belgian origin.

She obtained a B.A. (Languages) and an Honours in French (Translation and Interpreting) Cum Laude from the University of Johannesburg (formerly known as R.A.U.).

In 1995 she was admitted as a Sworn Translator to the High Court of South Africa  (95/29045).

Between 2004 and 2007 Astrid lectured Conversational French, French Translation and French Culture and Civilisation at the University of Johannesburg.

Astrid trained as a business consultant by Competitive Dynamics International in 2007.

Currently providing translating, interpreting and mentoring services to a select  portfolio of clients within the mining, telecommunication and business consulting sectors.
